We’re looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our Private Care at Guys part of London Bridge Hospital at London currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The theatres across our facilities, provide a vibrant, exciting, and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.

Private Care at Guy's is part of London Bridge Hospital, it has four Operating Theatres offering a wide range of surgeries including Robotics, Urology and Gynaecology. Equipped with three state-of-the-art DaVinci Surgical Systems, our theatres boast one of the largest multi-specialty private robotic programmes in the UK. With 49 patient bedrooms and four Level 3 ICU beds we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care, delivering a level of care rarely found in the private sector.

With 160 beds, 28 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you'll be providing specialist care to the patients across all areas during the perioperative period. Assisting in the day to day management of the theatres, acting as a mentor to support staff and providing a streamlined service to our patient and consultants in a spacious and bright facility with state of the art equipment.

What you’ll bring:
Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
Post graduate experience in UK Theatres
Anaesthetics experience
Anaesthetics course
To ensure safety for patients and colleagues
To develop and maintain effective working relationships with Consultants and other health professionals and to ensure that prescribed treatment is carried out.
Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.
