Location: The London Bridge Hospital
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, 4 days per week (Occasional Saturdays)
Shifts: 7:00am-15:00pm, 13:00-21:00pm
Salary: Competitive + allowances

We are looking for a Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

What you will do:

Responsible for providing post-operative care and monitoring for patients who have undergone surgical procedures.

Ensuring patients' safe and smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area, closely monitoring their condition, and delivering expert post-operative care. 

Observing for any signs of complications or adverse reactions to anaesthesia or surgery and taking immediate action. 

Maintain precise and thorough patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and patient responses.

What You will bring:

Registered Theatre Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner Current HCPC/NMC Registration

Experience working in Operating Theatre in Recovery.

Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills

Self motivated and able to work as part of a team.
