An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative Charge Nurse/Sister to join the Pre-Operative Assessment team at the Yorkshire Clinic,

Duties Include

• They are responsible for professional day-to-day clinical leadership.
• Identifies trends and change of practice when required
• Responsible for sickness and absence Human Resources
• Provides training within POA
• Implements development of team with educational program
• Awareness and implementation of latest national guidelines and clinical practice changes
• Demonstrate pride in their work and enthusiasm for quality of care of patients attending the Pre- Operative Assessment Department.

The successful candidate will have

• Current NMC registration,
• Good management experience in a similar role, with proven ability to lead a team and develop the Pre-assessment services.
• With excellent organisational and communication skills they will also be required to manage the day to day operational running of the pre-assessment department
