Shift Options:

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurses program
• Active registration with the BCCNM
• Maintains Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
• Passes and complies with Ministry of Justice Criminal record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter. 

Responsibilities:
Summary of responsibilities, but no limited to, include: 

• Monitor resident health and document observations
• Assist with personal care tasks
• Support emergency staffing when needed
• Ensure infection control practices are followed
• Assess and address resident needs

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in gerontology
• Familiarity with MDS education (Gold Care or Point Click Care).
