Immunisation Nurse - Spire Occupational Health

Full Time: 37.5h/week

Location: University of Worcester

Salary - £37,000 - £40,000 DOE

Spire Occupational Health is looking for competent, compassionate, and confident Immunisation Nurse to join our growing team!

Requirements:

The successful candidate will lead the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester. You will report to the Regional Immunisation Nurse Manager and assist them in shaping the Immunisation services provision for the future.

Other duties and responsibilities are:

• Clinical audit, including observational audit
• Improving and maintaining quality and safety standards
• Delivery of KPIs/targets
• Service modernisation
• Recruitment and staff retention
• Staff training
• To participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as SEQOHS.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within the speciality of Occupational Health and ensure this reflects in your own clinical practice.
• Monitor the quality-of-service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation
• To work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, always maintaining professional standards.

About you:

• To represent high quality of client care
• To be willing to undertake educational programmes as appropriate to the post.
• To be able to work autonomously.
• To demonstrate ability to manage your own workload.

Essential

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
• Post- registration qualification in Immunisations
• Up to date BLS & anaphylaxis
• IT literacy
