Dermatology Nurse - London Doctors Clinic (part of Spire Healthcare)

Part Time- 24h/week -3 days

Salary - £55k/year FTE

London Doctors Clinic is looking for competent, compassionate, and confident dermatology nurse to join our team at the London leading Private GP practices!

Requirements:

Successful candidate must have previous experience in dermatology and specialise in mole screening. As this is a standalone role previous experience in the role of practice nurse is desired as you may be required to undertake general nursing and phlebotomy duties.

Other duties and responsibilities are:

• Perform full skin assessment (including dermoscopy).
• Ensure provision of high standards of care for patients.
• Awareness and compliance with CQC regulations
• Collaborate with the wider LDC team to promote nurse services.
• Support and drive delivery of clinic objectives.
• Offer comprehensive dermatology advice to our patients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant NICE Guidelines, BDNG Competencies and NMC Code.

• To be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• To be willing to undertake educational programmes as appropriate to the post.
• To be willing to support wider nursing team with general nurse appointments when required.
• To be able to work autonomously.
• To demonstrate ability to manage your own workload.

Essential

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
• Previous Mole screening/dermatology experience
• IT literacy
• To be willing to undertake educational programmes as appropriate to the post
• To be willing to support wider nursing team with general nurse appointments when required

Desirable

• Educated to degree or masters level
• Dermatology qualification
• ECG capability
