Clinical Nurse Manager - ITU

Clinical Nurse Manager – ITU
London: The Lister Hospital
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Permanent
Salary £Competitive + Outstanding Benefits

We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our ITU Unit at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The Critical Care Unit provides High Dependency (level 2), Intensive Care (Level 3) and 24-hour patient outreach service to the clinical areas.

The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead the development of ITU Unit at the Lister Hospital Chelsea. This role would suit an experienced ITU Manager who is looking for a slightly different challenge in an environment that enables staff the time to really focus on the care they deliver. Many of our patients are level 2 patients who need proactive management post complex surgery. We have a significant number of patients with medical issues too. The unit is fully supported by Consultant Intensivists and resident ITU RMOs.

You will be presented with different challenges to those you may have been used to dealing with in a tertiary ITU and therefore the ideal candidate will enjoy taking on new challenges. HCA offers excellent opportunities for staff who wish to develop as clinical experts and leaders. With a dynamic and engaged senior leadership team we will work together to drive improvement in quality and experience both on new and existing patient pathways.

If you are looking for something slightly different, want to be challenged whilst you develop as a leader than please give us a call.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

What you’ll bring:

A registered general nursing qualification combined with a post-graduate degree
A qualification in Intensive Care
Previous team Leadership and development experience
A solid awareness of clinical governance, quality, and risk in the context of patient safety
