Anaesthetic Practitioner
Are you an Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse with an anaesthetic qualification looking for a role as an Anaesthetic Practitioner in one of the two Major Trauma Centres in the Southwest?
At North Bristol NHS Trust we currently have 34 theatres, with a further 4 theatres in the new Elective Care Centre launching in Spring 2025. The theatres are supported by 72 medirooms and 4 traditional PACU facilities. We are a Major Trauma Centre and cover a range of specialties including Plastics & Breast, Urology, General, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Metabolic & GI, Elective Orthopaedic, Neuro & Spinal, Vascular, Interventional Radiology, Emergency & Trauma.

Candidates should be either a Registered ODP or a Registered Nurse with a post basic Anaesthetic Nursing qualification.
The successful candidate will:
- Participate in all aspects of clinical operating department work, and provide a high standard of patient care and safety in accordance with the North Bristol NHS Trust philosophy and objectives, policies and legal requirements
- Deputise for the Team Leader when required/experience allows
- Be involved in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and work within a flexible team structure involving a multi- disciplinary team
